Summit Garden Chinese Cuisine
About This Spot
Stepping into Summit Garden Chinese Cuisine feels like discovering a quietly cherished neighborhood haven—a place where familiar warmth meets the comforting hum of shared meals. Tucked away on Winston Churchill Boulevard, the dining room surprises with its spaciousness, allowing conversations to flow freely without the cluttered buzz so often found in bustling city spots. There’s a gentle rhythm here, thoughtful and unhurried, as staff move attentively but never intrusively, making guests feel both welcomed and at ease.
The atmosphere strikes a balance between casual and respectful tradition, especially evident during the afternoon dim sum service. Instead of simply ordering from a menu, guests encounter the classic rolling carts, bringing freshly steamed dumplings and warm delicacies right to their table—a ritual that sparks small moments of shared discovery and delight. Each dish, from delicate shrimp dumplings to rich slow-cooked oxtail, carries the kind of authentic flavors that whisper of well-loved family recipes and careful craftsmanship.
Summit Garden’s kitchen reflects a quiet passion for the diverse textures and aromas of Cantonese and regional Chinese cooking. Dishes arrive with an inviting depth—from the silky smoothness of congee to the satisfying crispness of wok-fried greens, every bite encourages lingering over the meal rather than rushing through it. It’s the kind of place where Peking duck is savored slowly, and where simple ingredients are elevated by precise technique and gentle seasoning.
What stays with visitors is less about flash and more about these genuine moments: the comfortable spacing of tables, the warm exchange with attentive staff, and the low hum of families and friends breaking bread together. Summit Garden invites you not just to eat, but to experience the quiet richness of familiar flavors made thoughtfully, in a setting that welcomes you as if you’ve just arrived home.

I recently visited Summit Garden Restaurant and had a great experience. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the service was very good—attentive and efficient without feeling rushed. We went for dim sum and were impressed with the freshness and flavor of every dish. Everything we ordered was delicious and clearly made with care. It’s easy to see why this place is popular. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality dim sum in a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

We tried a wide variety of Chinese dishes here, oxtail stew, chicken feet, shrimp dumplings, siu mai, bean sprouts, and fried rice. My favorite was definitely the bean sprouts! They had that classic wok-fired aroma and were seasoned perfectly. It reminded me of authentic street-style stir-fry. The oxtail stew was rich and creamy, and the meat was incredibly tender. The only downside was the pairing with green peppers, which didn’t quite complement the stew. I think a different veggie would work better. All the dim sum items were handmade, and I was genuinely impressed by how large the shrimp were and how fresh and chewy the handmade wrappers tasted. To top it off, the complimentary red bean porridge dessert was such a highlight - sweet, comforting, and a lovely way to end the meal.

The interior is much bigger than the outside would suggest. Tables are quite far apart, so you don’t feel cramped. Service was good. While the food was not top-notch, it was reasonably good and certainly great value. I guess there’s a reason they’ve been around for 27 years. I certainly intend to go back again!

Came here for dimsum on a Wednesday. I really like how they still have the cart style dim sum (compared to ordering from a menu). The Shumai and Har Gow were both delicious. The downside is that the dim sum here is much more expensive than Jade dim sum. Having said that, the quality is definitely much better! I will definitely come here again for dim sum!

Delicious Cantonese style family run restaurant. Great service and attentive staff. My favourite were the Peking duck, the lettuce wrap, and the winter melon dish. Would definitely come back!

Mississauga is an authentic cantonese food desert. Summit garden is one of the few places serving up traditional cantonese food. The food is generally of high quality, we especially enjoyed the peking duck, suckling roast pig and lobster e-mein. Service is just OK, some of the staff don't pay as close attention to customers as they should but I come to expect that in authentic chinese restaurants. Overall a pleasant experience.

Dim Sum!!! If you want good quality dim sum, I recommend this place. This place gets busy, so you may have to wait for seating. The portion sizes are large and the quality, the way things are cooked were perfect. Dim sum style: traveling food carts and round tables, great for groups of people to share. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.
